Forest Bathing at Cheekwood for Arbor Day

  • Cheekwood Botanical Gardens 1200 Forrest Park Drive Nashville, TN, 37221 United States (map)

My Forest Therapy talk & walk will begin at 11 AM on the Frist Learning Center Events Lawn. Check the Cheekwood website for tickets and a full list of the events of the day!

There’s no better place than an accredited arboretum to spend a day appreciating trees. The first 500 visitors to Cheekwood will be able to take home their own sapling. Join us as featured artist, Charles Brindley, returns to host discussions and spark your creativity in a hands-on workshop illustrating trees. Learn how trees have provided inspiration for centuries, including the Japanese practice of Forest Bathing. Sarah Champion, certified Forest Bathing guide, will explain the process and what the benefits are.

Try your hand at sketching a tree, play tree trivia, explore tree-inspired books and get to know the dedicated people behind Root Nashville. Join the community tree-planting ceremony and get all your tree-planting questions answered by Cheekwood experts. Free with Membership.
